All of Byzantium is alive with the happy sons of the peasants harvesting their crops for the winter. Knight are sharpening their swords in preparation for the Fall campaigns while Lords and Princes are collecting taxes and drawing up battle plans. I myself have returned from weeks of pilgrimage to chronicle the events of Byzantium as the war rages on.
